Great Resource

This is not a quick read, but a well written overview of the basics of well log analysis. It taught me what I needed to know and answered all my questions to get through a petroleum geology exercise in analyzing logs, and I had a leg up on everyone in the class. If you put the time in to read this it is a great tool.

However, it is cool and cover the basics, when the basics are all that you have. On the field work, it can make the difference for the newbie on the log analysis.
