Accepting Fate is the second book in the Destiny Series.

Accepting Fate begins around the same time frame that Defining Destiny ends. This story however does not revolve around Lucy and Seth, but rather Jax Russo and Derek Alexander. The situations in this story are more complex and mature than Defining Destiny. The character development of Jax and Derek was great, the two characters transitioned into adulthood with relatable issues through the battling of personal demons, developing relationships, as well as helping family members during their times of need.

Jax, best friend to Seth and Lucy, moved home from school about a year ago to help overcome her depression. Unlike Lucy, Jax has not met her soul mate and is unsure if she ever wants to meet her soul mate. Jax sets out to help her brother, Marty, who has been arrested, but in the midst of helping out her brother, Jax is forced to choose between her family and the guy she has loved since she was fifteen.

Derek is a local town hero, with plenty of his own demons. As a firefighter he is battling to overcome his guilt in the horrific tragedy of his sister’s death nine years ago. Derek fights his soul mate connection with Jax, because he doesn’t want to end up broken, like his father. However fate has a different plan, no longer able to resist Jax, will love conquer all?

Overall the story was well written and I would recommend it to those who like romance.

Not you typical travel guide

If you are considering buying this travel guide, you already know what you are looking for. If you know what I mean. Wink. If you don't, I mean sex.
The guide is clearly written by someone who knows what he is talking about and who has been to Bangkok multiple times. There is a part with the tips on transportation, eating out, sightseeing, but majority of the book is aimed to get girls in the safest and best way possible.
I plan on visiting Bangkok with my friends in a few months and this book will certainly come in handy. Maybe I won't use it but it is good to have a guide like this if I find myself in a situation where I need it.
